M. A. TATEISHI
 M.A.Tateishi is a painter working in
Vancouver. Her paintings explore ideas about visual memory and use layers of paint, paper and resin to show the history of how the painting was created. Each painting is energized by pure colour, structured composition and an element of randomness. After getting a degree in English and an MBA, she made a complete career switch and studied art at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Her art is in private collections across Canada as well as in the United States, England and Japan.
